Permission Grades

In AssetWise iDCR data categories map to the following permission grades:

Category	Type	Description
0	Ad hoc or General Permissions	These are specific named permissions and normally result in a Yes or No answer to a question, for example, "May I change my application preferences?" This grade is further divided into: Internal – Change Password, Control of Application specific functions External – Shut down AssetWise Services
A	Permission on Supporting Rudiments	Permission names are specific Yes or No responses (and not just Modify), for example "May Add a new Document", "May Change Priority Types".
B	Permission on Object Instances Information	For example, View, Maintain, Approve, etc.
C	Permission on Object Dependent Information	Options are: View or Modify.
D	Permission on Object-To-Object Information	Options are: View or Modify. This grade is further divided into: Simple – Grouped Virtual Item to Document Complex -Responsibilities Directional – Same as Category C
E	Permission on Grouped Objects	Permissions are assigned on the object group level and are the same for all objects within the group.
